Bioniche Pharma is committed to continue its growth through business development initiatives which include acquiring injectable marketed products and/or companies. Acquiring commercialized products both branded and generic, is a key driver to our strategy. The territories of primary interest to Bioniche Pharma are the USA, Canada and Europe. We are interested in acquiring marketed injectable products across a range of therapeutic areas.
In addition, we have two branded product opportunities currently available for out licensing in the US. Both products are marketed in Europe through partnerships with selected pharmaceutical companies. The products are Suplasyn® and Cystistat®. Suplasyn is a bio-engineered injectable hyaluronic acid product used in the treatment of pain associated with osteoarthritis of the knee. Cystistat is an injectable hyaluronic acid product used to treat painful bladder syndrome.
